Firestick Downloader code, Android TV, Roku, Apple TV, Smart IPTV, iPhone, Mac — the whole walkthrough's right here. You'll be streaming in about five minutes.
How to Install Troypoint IPTV on Firestick (Downloader Code)
This is the Troypoint method most Firestick users already know — sideload via the Downloader app and a short downloader code. It's the fastest Fire Stick setup we've found, and you don't need a computer. Works on every generation of Fire TV stick, including the 4K Max and Fire TV Cube.
1
Turn on Apps from Unknown Sources
Grab your Firestick remote and head to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Apps from Unknown Sources. Flip it ON. If you don't see Developer Options on a newer Fire OS, open My Fire TV → About and click the build name seven times — it'll unlock.
💡 You only have to do this once per Fire Stick.
2
Install the Downloader app
From the Firestick home screen, hit the search icon and type "Downloader". Pick the orange Downloader app by AFTVnews and install it — it's free. This is the same Downloader app every Firestick IPTV guide uses, so you're on familiar ground.
3
Type the Troypoint downloader code
Open Downloader, click the URL field, and type the short downloader code we send you. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll text you the current code — it changes from time to time so we don't post it publicly. Hit Go and the Troypoint IPTV APK starts pulling down.
💡 Our team replies in minutes on WhatsApp with the latest code.
4
Install the Troypoint IPTV APK
When the download finishes, you'll see an Install button — tap it. The install takes around 30 seconds. Delete the APK file when Downloader asks to free up storage.
5
Sign in with your M3U URL or Xtream Codes
Open Troypoint IPTV and paste in the M3U URL we emailed you, or use the Xtream Codes login (server, username, password). Channels load in seconds. That's it — you're watching.
💡 Pin Troypoint IPTV to the front row of your Firestick home for one-click access.
How to Install Troypoint IPTV on Android TV or Android Box
Android TV IPTV setup is even simpler than Firestick — most Android TV boxes have Downloader in the Play Store. The steps below work for Chromecast with Google TV, Nvidia-style Android boxes, MeCool, MXQ, and any Android phone or tablet too.
1
Allow installs from unknown sources
Open Settings → Device Preferences → Security & Restrictions → Unknown Sources and turn on the toggle for your browser or file manager. On phones, it's under Settings → Security → Install Unknown Apps.
2
Install Downloader from Google Play
Open the Play Store, search Downloader (yes, the same one the Firestick crowd uses), and install. Or use any browser if your box doesn't have Play Store access.
3
Enter the downloader code
Type the Troypoint downloader code we text you on WhatsApp into Downloader's URL bar, hit Go, and the APK starts downloading. Same code that works on Fire Stick works here.
4
Install and sign in
Tap Install when the download finishes. Open Troypoint IPTV, paste your M3U URL or Xtream Codes login from your welcome email, and you're streaming.
💡 Works on every Android version from 7.0 up, plus all Android TV boxes.
Smart IPTV Install on Samsung & LG Smart TV
Samsung and LG don't run Android, so you can't sideload the Troypoint APK on them. Instead, you'll use a Smart IPTV install — either the Smart IPTV app or IBO Player, both available in the Samsung Apps and LG Content Store. They load your M3U URL directly.
1
Install Smart IPTV or IBO Player
Open your TV's app store (Samsung Apps for Samsung, LG Content Store for LG). Search "Smart IPTV" or "IBO Player" and install. Both work — IBO Player has a cleaner EPG, Smart IPTV has been around longer.
2
Grab the TV's MAC address
Open the app and write down the MAC address it shows on screen. You'll need it to upload your M3U URL through the app's web portal.
3
Upload your Troypoint M3U URL
On your phone or laptop, go to the Smart IPTV portal (siptv.app) or IBO Player portal. Enter your MAC and paste the Troypoint IPTV M3U URL from your welcome email. Save.
4
Restart the TV app
Close and reopen the Smart IPTV app on your TV. Channels load automatically with the EPG.
💡 Smart IPTV charges a one-time $5.49 activation fee per MAC — that goes to the app developer, not us.
Best iPhone IPTV App Setup (iPhone & iPad)
There's no Troypoint IPTV app in the App Store (Apple's rules), so you'll use a third-party iPhone IPTV app to play your M3U or Xtream Codes login. The two we recommend: IPTV Smarters Pro and GSE Smart IPTV. Both are free.
1
Install IPTV Smarters Pro or GSE Smart IPTV
Open the App Store and search "IPTV Smarters Pro" (our pick) or "GSE Smart IPTV". Tap Get. Both apps work the same way and load your Troypoint playlist.
2
Choose your login type
Open the app and tap "Add New User". You can pick "Login with Xtream Codes API" (cleaner) or "Load Your Playlist or File/URL" for plain M3U. The Xtream Codes route gives you the EPG out of the box.
3
Paste your Troypoint credentials
Type a profile name, then paste the server URL, username and password from your Troypoint welcome email. (Or paste the M3U URL if you went that route.) Tap Add.
4
Start watching
Channels and on-demand load in a couple of seconds. AirPlay them to your Apple TV if you want a bigger screen.
💡 Works on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch — anything on iOS 13 or newer.
Mac IPTV Player & Windows Setup
Two easy options for desktop. VLC handles the M3U URL with zero setup — perfect if you just want to watch. IPTV Smarters for Windows or Mac gives you a proper EPG and category browsing.
1
Pick your Mac IPTV player
Download VLC (free, from videolan.org) for the quick-and-dirty route, or IPTV Smarters for Mac/Windows from smarterspro.com if you want the full guide UI.
2
Open the network stream
In VLC, click File → Open Network on Mac (or Media → Open Network Stream on Windows). Paste your Troypoint M3U URL from the welcome email. Hit Open.
3
Or sign into IPTV Smarters
If you went with Smarters, pick "Login with Xtream Codes API" and paste the server, username, and password from your welcome email. You'll get a proper TV guide.
4
Cast or watch direct
Watch on the laptop, or cast to your TV with AirPlay (Mac) or a Chromecast (Windows).
💡 VLC works on Mac, Windows, and Linux. Smarters covers Mac and Windows.
Roku IPTV Setup (Screen Mirroring Method)
Roku doesn't allow sideloading, so the Roku IPTV route is screen mirroring from your phone or PC. It's not as clean as Firestick, but it works and gets your Troypoint feed on the big screen.
1
Turn on screen mirroring
On Roku, head to Settings → System → Screen Mirroring and set the mode to Prompt or Always Allow.
2
Install IPTV Smarters on your phone
Install IPTV Smarters Pro on your iPhone or Android, then sign in with your Troypoint Xtream Codes login.
3
Mirror to your Roku
On Android, swipe down and tap Cast, then pick your Roku. On iPhone, open Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring.
4
Hit play
Start a channel in Smarters. It plays through to the Roku. Lock your phone screen rotation so the picture stays the right way up.
💡 If mirroring lags, plug your Roku into Ethernet — Wi-Fi mirroring eats bandwidth fast.
Apple TV IPTV Setup with IPTV Smarters
Apple TV IPTV is a clean experience because tvOS now runs the same IPTV Smarters Pro app as iPhone — no sideloading, no certificate hassles. You'll be done in three steps.
1
Install IPTV Smarters Pro
Open the App Store on your Apple TV (4th gen and up). Search "IPTV Smarters Pro" and install.
2
Sign in with Xtream Codes
Open the app, pick "Login with Xtream Codes API", and key in the server URL, username and password from your Troypoint welcome email. The remote keyboard is slow — use the Apple TV iPhone remote to type faster.
3
Browse and watch
Channels, EPG, and on-demand all load in seconds. The interface is tvOS-native, so it feels just like Netflix on Apple TV.
💡 Works on Apple TV HD, 4K (1st and 2nd gen).
Troypoint IPTV on NVIDIA Shield TV
Shield runs Android TV, so the Troypoint setup is basically identical to any Android TV box — but Shield has the muscle to play 4K streams without breaking a sweat. It's the device a lot of cord-cutters end up on after Firestick.
1
Turn on unknown sources
Open Settings → Device Preferences → Security & Restrictions → Unknown Sources and switch on the toggle for your browser or Downloader.
2
Install Downloader from the Play Store
Search the Play Store on your Shield for Downloader, install it, then open it.
3
Type the downloader code
Enter the Troypoint IPTV downloader code we send you on WhatsApp. Press Go. The APK pulls down in seconds — Shield's network stack is fast.
4
Install and play
Tap Install, open Troypoint IPTV, and sign in with your M3U or Xtream Codes credentials. 4K channels load instantly on Shield.
💡 Shield's HDR pass-through is rock solid — use it for premium sports and 4K movie channels.
About the Troypoint Downloader Code
The downloader code is a short numeric shortcut the Downloader app uses to fetch our latest APK. We don't post the code publicly because it rotates — that way you always get the freshest Troypoint IPTV build with the newest channel list and bug fixes.
After you sign up (or start your free trial), our team sends you the current code on WhatsApp along with your M3U URL and Xtream Codes login. It's usually in your inbox within a few minutes. Ping us on WhatsApp if you don't see it.
Troypoint IPTV Troubleshooting
The same five questions show up in our WhatsApp inbox every week. Here's the short answer to each — saves you the wait.
Why does Troypoint IPTV keep buffering on my Firestick?
Nine times out of ten, it's the connection — not the app. Run a speed test on the Fire Stick (there's a Speedtest app on the Fire Stick store). You'll want 25 Mbps or more for 4K, 10 Mbps for HD. If you're on Wi-Fi, switch your Firestick to the 5 GHz band or move it closer to the router. A quick Fire Stick restart clears the cache and usually settles things down too.
A channel won't load — is it down?
Force-close the app and reopen it first — that fixes most of these. If a channel's still dead, the source feed is rebooting on our end and should be back in a couple of minutes. Anything still down after 15 minutes is worth a quick WhatsApp message so we can swap to the backup feed manually. We don't ignore those.
My EPG (TV guide) is missing — how do I fix it?
The EPG URL is in your welcome email as a separate link from the M3U URL. Open IPTV Smarters (or whatever player you use), go to Settings → EPG → EPG URL, paste the link, and refresh. It pulls down in about 30 seconds. If you signed in with Xtream Codes instead of M3U, the EPG loads automatically — nothing to configure.
Do I need a VPN with Troypoint IPTV?
You don't have to. Our streams are legal and we're not asking you to hide anything. That said, plenty of customers run a VPN anyway — some ISPs throttle video traffic and a decent VPN can fix that. Pick one with a fast server close to where you live so it doesn't add lag. NordVPN, Surfshark and Private Internet Access all play nicely on Firestick.
Where do I find my Troypoint M3U URL?
Check the welcome email we send after your trial or order goes through. It has three things: your M3U URL, your Xtream Codes username and password, and the EPG link. Search your inbox for "Troypoint" or "IPTV" — and check the spam folder. If it's truly not there, message us on WhatsApp and we'll resend in a couple of minutes.
